Gardening Together

A non-profit organization dedicated to lowering the allotment waiting list

We do this by connect you to community-minded land and garden owners who want to help their neighbours on the allotment waiting list who have no space to grow food or flowers.
As a gardener, we find a lovely place for you to grow, We also help facilitate an arrangement with the landowner for a minimum of one year of growing.
We have two ways for you to get started:
Pop-Up Allotments giving landowners a way to contribute to their community by offering their land for vibrant pop up allotments. Our popup allotments are in high demand, and spaces are limited. Priority will be given to those living closest to the sites. Secure your spot on the waiting list now, and be the first to know when plots become available.
Share Your Garden Garden, connecting community-minded garden owners with aspiring gardeners.
Our Mission

What is the growing problem we are trying to weed out?
Unfortunately, there are over 100,000 people waiting to get their hands on an allotment space, with wait times often over 5 years!
"Green space can play an important role in fostering social interactions and promoting a sense of community"

Our mission is to strengthen communities by connecting people to growing together in a shared garden.

Why we care
Why we care
Hi everyone! I’m Kieran, one of the Directors at Gardening Together CIC, nice to meet you!
Have you ever wanted to have your own gardening space but just couldn’t find the right fit for you?
Well, I had the same struggle when I moved to Frome, but then I stumbled upon a lucky opportunity. I found a space at a local business premises where I could trade some gardening in exchange for some growing space. And let me tell you, it was truly amazing.
